Is there a free trial available for the paid version of Avast One?
Yes. After you download and install Avast One, the application is automatically in free-trial mode. This means that you have access to the premium product features for a limited time period. You can check when your free trial expires by clicking Account in the left panel. The expiry date is visible under Subscription. To continue using the premium features after your free trial ends, you need to purchase a paid Avast One subscription.
What are the system requirements for Avast One?

Is there a free trial available for the paid version of Avast One?
Yes. After installing Avast One, you can access a 30-day free trial of the premium features by following the steps below:
- Click Go premium.
- Move your cursor towards the red X in the top-left corner of the subscription pricing screen. The free trial offer appears.
- Click Try for free on the pop-up message.
- Click Start Free trial, then follow the on-screen instructions.
You need to enter payment details before starting your free trial. If you cancel your subscription before the free trial expires, you are not charged.

All other Avast products will continue to work and receive application updates as normal. However, it is not possible to use the following applications alongside Avast One:
- Avast SecureLine VPN
- Avast Cleanup Premium
- Avast AntiTrack
- Avast BreachGuard
- Avast Driver Updater
If you try to install Avast One when you already have any of the above listed applications installed on your PC, the Avast One installation is blocked. To resolve the conflict with your existing Avast product(s), you need to uninstall each application before installing Avast One.
If you use Avast Battery Saver, you can install Avast One and continue to use Battery Saver alongside Avast One.
Do I need to uninstall previous Avast products before I install Avast One?
Yes. If you have any of the following products installed on your PC, you need to uninstall them before installing Avast One. For uninstallation instructions, refer to the relevant article below:

Alternatively, you can download Avast One from the Avast website. However, you may encounter problems with the installation due to a conflict with your existing Avast Free Antivirus installation. Therefore, we recommend uninstalling Avast Free Antivirus before you try to install Avast One.

How can I migrate from Avast Premium Security to Avast One?
If you have an Avast Premium Security (single-device) subscription, you can migrate directly via your Avast Premium Security application using one of the methods below:

If you do not see the Sign in or Explore Avast One buttons, this means it is currently not possible for you to migrate to Avast One due to an incompatible subscription or other Avast product installed on your device.
During migration you are prompted to sign in with your Avast Account or create a new account. After signing in with the same Avast Account that contains your Avast Premium Security (single-device) subscription, your subscription is changed to Avast One.
If you create a new account to sign in to Avast One, or the account you use is not connected to your Avast Premium Security (single-device) subscription, your subscription will not automatically convert to Avast One.
Currently, it is only possible to migrate an Avast Premium Security (single-device) subscription to Avast One. If you have an Avast Premium Security (multi-device) subscription, you cannot convert this to an Avast One subscription.

Why can't I install Avast One?
Avast One installation stops if you have one or more applications on your PC that are incompatible with Avast One. Incompatible applications are usually products with similar functionality to Avast One, such as antivirus, VPN, or performance-boosting software. A list of incompatible applications on your PC is displayed when the Avast One installation process stops due to incompatible applications.
To install Avast One, you need to first uninstall all incompatible applications from your PC. This includes the following Avast products:
- Avast Premium Security with an expired subscription or in trial mode
- Avast SecureLine VPN
- Avast Cleanup Premium
- Avast BreachGuard
- Avast AntiTrack
- Avast Driver Updater
- Kamo (by CCleaner)

- You are trying to install Avast One from the Avast website rather than migrating from your existing Avast Premium Security installation.

To migrate from Avast Premium Security with a valid subscription:
- Click I accept. Start migration on the Avast One offer screen. Alternatively, go to

Menu ▸ My Subscriptions ▸ Explore Avast One. - Follow the on-screen instructions to migrate to Avast One.
- When prompted, sign in to your Avast Account to automatically convert your Avast Premium Security subscription to an Avast One subscription.
- If prompted, restart your PC to complete the migration.

Why hasn't my subscription automatically converted to Avast One?
To convert an Avast Premium Security (single-device) subscription to Avast One, you need to sign in to Avast One using the same Avast Account that is connected to your Avast Premium Security (single-device) subscription.
To check which subscriptions are connected to your Avast Account, sign in to your Avast Account and click the Subscriptions tile.
Currently, it is only possible to convert an Avast Premium Security for Windows (single-device) subscription to Avast One. It is not possible to convert any other Avast subscription.
How can I switch back to my previous Avast product if I am unsatisfied with Avast One?
To revert back to your previous Avast product(s):
- Uninstall Avast One.
- Restart your PC.
- Install your preferred Avast product(s):
- Installing Avast Premium Security
- Installing Avast Free Antivirus
- Installing Avast SecureLine VPN
- Installing Avast Driver Updater
- Installing Avast Cleanup Premium
- Installing Avast BreachGuard
- Installing Avast AntiTrack
- If applicable, activate your Avast product(s):
- Activating Avast Premium Security
- Activating Avast SecureLine VPN
- Activating Avast Driver Updater
- Activating Avast Cleanup Premium

If you previously had an Avast Premium Security for Windows (single-device) subscription that automatically converted to Avast One, contact Avast Support to request changing your subscription back to Avast Premium Security.
Why can't I install Avast One?
Avast One installation stops if you already have one or more applications on your Mac that are incompatible with Avast One. Incompatible applications are usually products with similar functionality to Avast One, such as other antivirus software. A list of incompatible applications on your Mac is displayed when the Avast One installation process stops due to incompatible applications.
To install Avast One, you need to first uninstall all incompatible applications from your Mac. This includes Avast Security and Avast Premium Security. We recommend following the steps below to prepare your Mac for installation of Avast One:
- Close the Avast One installer window.
- Uninstall the incompatible applications. For Avast product uninstallation instructions, refer to the relevant article below:

- Restart your Mac.
